We are having a shit-in protest daily... at the Shitty of Ukiah Shitty Hall!

UPD Lead Officer Dougherty, as recorded by his body camera, and by the body cameras of UPD Eric Rodello and CSO Officer Freeman, and by the Rodello car camera on 13Aug21, confirmed and announced that the City of Ukiah will no longer be enforcing the leash law.

The leash law is a necessity. It ensures the safety of your family and your pets.

If the City of Ukiah is no longer enforcing Subsection "A" of the animal codes, they are not enforcing Subsection "B" of the exact same code, the pet waste disposal part of the code.

I refuse to pick up my pet waste from public property, until the City of Ukiah decides, once again, that they want to enforce the animal codes.

I urge all pet owners to voice your opinion by taking your pets to City Hall, and leaving your pet waste for the City Manager. My pit bull enjoys the north grassy area near the executives offices. She likes an audience. The Rottweiler enjoys crapping near the police. Can't fault him for that. They make me want to empty my bowels too!

If you love your animals, and the security provided by the once-enforced leash law, give a sh*t. Give the city ALL of the sh*t. Eventually, more level heads in City Hall will see the need to again enforce the animal control code.
