Ukiah Police: If you can't beat the panhandlers, JOIN THEM. Spange, anyone?

 Has anyone received the Sgt. Max Brazill "spange" letter yet? You know, the one where he hits you up to "stand with your local law enforcement" by sending them your spare change, etcetera? I will post pictures of the letter.

I will quote it in its entirety:

"Dear Proud Supporter of Ukiah Police Officers, 

Our law enforcement officers ensure our community and its families remain safe. They also give back to their communities through initiatives aimed at improving conditions for neighborhood kids, the elderly, and more. Your support is imperative if these officers are to continue the great work they do to move our community forward. 

Do your part today. Stand with your local law enforcement officers to make a positive impact to our community.

Together we have the power to make a difference. Your generosity helps our local officers to sustain initiates that reduce crime, work with kids at risk, and provide underprivileged families financial support, making our community safer.

Please donate today (NO, PLEASE DO NOT DONATE) using the return envelope provided. Be a HERO to the cause!

There is much more to do if we are to ensure our community remains a great place to live, raise a family, and own a business.

I made a video previously about this solicitation, prior to actually receiving the hard copy in the mail.

Beyond the obvious excessive police and city government employee salaries, as I have documented, the solicitation itself has some other points.

Brazill maintains, in his letter, that Ukiah is a safe, good place to raise your children. "There is much more to do if we are to ensure that our community REMAINS a great place to live, raise a family, blah blah blah". 

He is also under the delusion that, in Ukiah, families are "safe". "Our law enforcement officers ensure our community and its families REMAIN safe". Do you feel that, in Ukiah, your family is "safe", as Max claims? Really? Crime stats and the ever-increasing murder and violent crime rates say otherwise. Did Ukiah Police Sergeant Kevin Murray make you safer? How about all those officers who beat a man in mental crisis, who currently still serve on the force without any discipline whatsoever. Do they make you feel safe? 

I have addressed the crime rates in Ukiah here. 

Ukiah is not a safe place. I invite Sergeant Max Brazill, or any other Ukiah cop, to allow their children to regularly walk alone between Perkins and Talmage on the Sage Sangiacomo Not-so-Great Methhead Mile at, say, 0600-0700hrs on ANY given day. Think your kids will be safe? Hell... do you think they'd be safe at 1300hrs, on that path? Playing in the bushes alongside the tracks, as kids will do?

Folks... as the first video above shows, these officers make OUTSTANDING bank. Most make more than their counterparts get in Santa Rosa, a city ten times the size of Ukiah and much more dangerous. It is simply fact. This solicitation is BULLSHIT. There is little difference between this solicitation, and the "spanging" you might receive as you try to enter Walmart. You know, the spanging that Ukiah Police investigates against the, as Brazill puts it, "underprivileged". To quote NWA, "fuck tha police"; at least THESE police.

These cheap unscrupulous bastards couldn't even include a stamped envelope, to make responding less costly on those sending them a $1000 check.

Don't send these clowns money. Instead, invest the cost of a stamp, and send them a long rant of EVERYTHING that is wrong with Ukiah, making your family LESS safe. Make it long. Make it obscene. Use humor. Get creative with where they can stuff their spanging request. 

Here is mine:

"Hey Max! I got your spange letter! Thanks! Out of meth at the UPD? Need legal defense money for the officers in your department that beat citizens, or rape them? You all are helping Ukiah REMAIN safe? Really? Is that why you cowards dispatch 3-5 cars per call? I had 3 officers, spending one manhour, on a dog turd. Did THAT make Ukiah safer, Max? Have you seen the crime stats of this "safe" town, as compared to comparable sized CA towns? No? No. You haven't. If you had... perhaps you might not have been stupid enough to actually maintain several times in your spanging letter that Ukiah is safe, and safe for families. Well... Ukiah cops do tend to lie, as I have also documented. That is the normal course of business in your shitty little department. Perhaps you might lie in your letter about how safe Ukiah is for families. I am a frank man, Max. You are an asshat. As to your request for MY money... you can go fuck yourself... deeply... with a long broomstick... driven by Eric Rodello; he has extensive driving experience of small vehicles. Yes. I know mine wasn't long. The UPD already has my rants on file! 

As you well know... the Ukiah Police no longer enforce the panhandling laws. You have seen it throughout town. They don't even try any longer. The Ukiah Police clearly have decided that, if'n you can't beat them, join them.

Don't feed the police with anything but contempt for their poor performance in "ensuring" that Ukiah "remain" a safe place to live, and for families.
